Background
Isa Bokas is a third-year Aerospace Engineering student at Georgia Tech and serves as Head of Partnerships for Southeast Analog. In this role, she leads efforts to build relationships with sponsors, organizations, and collaborators that help support the development of student-led analog space missions. Her work focuses on outreach, strategic partnerships, and event planning that directly contribute to the accessibility and sustainability of SEA’s mission. Alongside her involvement with Southeast Analog, Isa plays an active role in campus leadership and research, combining her interests in aerospace, science, and community-building.
Research Experience
Isa is an undergraduate researcher at the Planetary eXploration Laboratory (PXL), where she investigates the potential of salt solutions to protect DNA from gamma radiation in cryogenic environments. Her research has applications in the search for life in subsurface oceans on icy moons, contributing to our understanding of astrobiology and space exploration.

Isa enjoys running, reading, baking, cooking, and hiking. She is passionate about staying active and recently completed the 2026 Publix Half Marathon.
